Personalized One-to-one Counseling
Contact me to schedule personalized dog training sessions at your home. These sessions are tailored to the unique needs of you and your dog. Problems such as incessant barking, door charging, aggressiveness towards dogs or people, and other more complex problems are best handled in one-to-one training sessions. We specialize in helping dogs that are anxious, fearful, aggressive, dominant or simply undisciplined. We can best manage these problems at your home, during times that are most convenient for you. As we progress together, the content, duration and frequency of the training will adjust accordingly.
The fee for Personalized One-to-one training is $65 per one-hour session.
Obedience Training Classes (Canine Manners I & II)
Contact me to register for one of our upcoming group obedience training sessions. Classes typically meet once a week for a duration of six weeks. This is a great way to help socialize your dog and learn basic commands and discipline in a fun and engaging environment with other dogs and their owners. See the Manners I and Manners II course descriptions for further details.
The individual fee for each 6-week session is $115, and class size is limited to a maximum of eight dogs. Evidence of updated shots and vaccinations is required. Classes are hosted by Tender Touch Veterinary Hospital in Scarborough, Maine, and Jennz Petz Grooming in North Yarmouth, Maine.
Puppy Socialization
Contact me to register for one of our upcoming puppy socialization classes. These are fun events to get your dog interacting positively with other dogs and people! They also build confidence early in a dogs development. This is important to avoid problems such as fearfulness or anxiety as a dog matures. See the Puppy Socialization course description for further details.
The individual fee for each 5-week session is $105, and class size is limited to a maximum of eight dogs ages two-months to six-months. Evidence of updated shots and vaccinations is required. American Kennel Club’s Canine Good Citizenship Certification Class
Enjoy the rewarding accomplishment of earning AKC’s Canine Good Citizenship certification! This is a great step in professional training, and lays the foundation for other AKC activities such as obedience, agility, tracking and performance events. Contact me to register for one of our upcoming Canine Good Citizenship Certification classes, and prepare your dog for the AKC Canine Good Citizenship exam. There’s no better way for you to be recognized as a responsible dog owner, and your dog as a well-mannered good citizen!

As a prerequisite, dogs must have completed a minimum of one obedience training classes (either Manners I or Manners II). Evidence of updated shots and vaccinations is also required. Outdoor Adventures
Come join in the fun! Our Outdoor Adventures classes offer great training opportunities for you and your dog as we experience new and different outdoor adventures each week. These classes center around outdoor “field trips” to fun and exciting parks and other places of interest around the greater Portland area. There is much to explore, and this is a great way to strengthen your bond with your “best friend”, get outside, train, socialize and have fun! Check out our upcoming classes and sign up for one of these terrific classes!
This is a 6-week class, meeting once per week. The fee for this class is $140, and as a prerequisite participating dogs must have successfully completed at least one Manners obedience training class or a one-on-one training class and evaluation.
